| Me before the race. I look more relaxed than I really
am. I wear a specialized racing suit with fire-proof long-johns
underneath, including fireproof socks. I also wear gloves, special soft
shoes, ear plugs, and a neck brace and helmet—all standard racing gear
to ensure safety. |

Rob Scheibe helps me with last-minute preparations before
the race begins. People don't come every weekend, but I always enjoy
having friends and family around to lend a hand and watch the races. |
| Racers are getting in their cars and starting their engines.
We'll leave the "hot pit" in a single file line to the track. |
